I have had a whipples surgery done a couples of months back with total pancreas removal (surgery) including gall bladder and spleen. I have also had a part stomach and duodenum cut.
Currently, I am trying to recover my weight but suffer from loose motions (Diarrhea) after every meal. I am unable to retain or digest my food properly.
Anyone with such a case or knowledge of such issues post surgery, how long and how this may be controlled.

Hello, I am wondering if someone could help us with the decision my partner has to make this week. Following 2 TURPS and biopsies to confirm TCC, Peter has a week to decide to do BCG treatment or have a cystectomy and would like input on this. He is 66 and fit and healthy other than this issue. Also has anyone got a urostomy and can give Peter any thoughts on that and regarding the 2 different methods that can be used. Thanks for any help, Lesley

Can anyone tell me if there is anywere that bulk bills mammograms in Brisbane or surrounds please, I believe I may have a problem again and Breastscreen will not see me as I am considered diagnostic, I can no longer afford the cost of private solutions, I always have to have an ultrasound and it takes the cost up to over $200 that I just dont have.

When I was 21 I was and living in Alice Springs and I made good friends with a Botanist. My knowledge of the science of Botany was zilch, my experience as a field naturalist, about the same.

My partner has always had a financially high maintenance family. Sister has problems, can't cope, mum thinks she should be housed and supported because she brought my partner into the world and my partner falls for it.

I had treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2001 when I was 22 years old. I have remained free of cancer. I am now 32 years of age and looking at buying my first home. I was interested to hear other people's experiences of applying for mortages. Has anyone experienced any difficulties applying for home loans? Has anyone found any resources that have been helpful? The bank manager raised the topic of life insurance and income protection insurance. I don't feel very optimistic about that. Beginning to think that it might be worth talking to a financial planner before applying for any loans.
