What's with all the spammers hijacking this site this week?

What is it with these spammers? Why do they think that a group of people trying to get through and deal with all the issues that cancer is throwing at them, would be interested in their bloody shoe, watches or computer software?

Thank goodness that the techies at Cancer Connections give them the flick pretty quickly once they are notified.

Sod off spammers!

(I'll just go and put on another hormon patch now, and get this mood swing under control).

Our apologies for any inconvenience and distress recent unsolicited posts and users may have caused Community Members.

As Cancer Connections has developed over the last three years, the number of visits and members has risen dramatically. Along with that strong growth, the website has also become popular with visitors of an unwanted type.

The Admin Team regularly check the website for inappropriate visitors and posts and to ensure that any interference in the ongoing discussions is short lived or does not occur at all.

We also very much appreciate the vigilance and speed with which Community members bring unwanted posts and users to our attention.

If you have any specific concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
