Hi all, My dad has been diagnosis with a MERKEL tumor on the top of his head...having it removed next Wednesday...the doc told me it was a very rare form of skin cancer and also highly aggressive... has anyone heard of this type of cancer???...My Mum has end stage bowel cancer and is going down hill fast and this news about dad has not helped her at all....Pat

hi all,my mum passed away on friday 17th oct at home , dad and i were with her until the end just how mum wanted it .dad had his merkel cell cancer (MCC) removed on the 1st oct.. will see the doctor on the 28 th oct .Pat

Pat, My deepest sympathy to you and your father on the loss of your mother. I have enclosed a poem that may offer some comfort to you both. She is Gone - Remember me.
