Women with breast cancer living in Tweed Shire or Shoalhaven Shire can enjoy subsidised massages, thanks to a project being run by Cancer Council that has been funded by a seeding grant from NBOCC through the Polo Ralph Lauren Pink Pony campaign.

Funding is available until May 2009.

For more information, call the Helpline on 13 11 20.

Re: Massage for Women with Breast Cancer

I have just completed chemo and my body is dying for a massage. I tried firstly with my feet and face. The face felt fine but the feet especially the toes - they hurt so much that I kept telling the therapist to softly touch me but in the end I had to ask him to stop. That burning and numbness under my feet feels wierd. Does anybody else have this experience. Please share this with me.
