If you need help, don't hesitate to send a message to: email@example.com
The administrator will respond to your query as soon as possible. Please note: the administrator is only available during regular working hours.
Q. What is an Avatar and how do I use one?
A. An Avatar is the name used to describe a picture or symbol that appears next to your username as a way of identifying yourself and personalising your identity. You can upload your own when you register.
Q. Why do I have to supply my email address to join the forum?
A. We require an email address in order to send you an email to give you a secure way of confirming your registration. Please make sure that you check for and respond to the Confirmation email we send you. We may also need to send you messages from time to time informing you of important changes to the site. Please be assured that your email address and all other personal information will be stored securely at all times.
Q. Will other people be able to see my email address?
A. No. Your email address is hidden from other people unless you choose to share it directly with others. We strongly recommend that users do not do this.
The website allows you to send messages to a friend or others. This is done through the Personal Message function or 'PM' to send a secure message directly to that member.
Please remember that if you choose to send messages of this type that include your details, you do so at your own risk.
Q. What should I do if someone asks for my contact details or wants to arrange a meeting?
A. We recommend that you do not give out your personal contact details. Our 'Terms and Conditions of Use' ask you to protect your identity. If you pass on your details you do so at your own risk. We recommend that you contact the Adminstrator if someone asks for your details.
Q. Can I post links to other sites here?
A. Yes you can, but you cannot post anything that promotes a business or profit-making enterprise. Nor can you post links to anything obscene or offensive. Please refer to the 'Terms and Conditions of Use' section of this site for more detail.

The Administrator of the site is a full-time employee of Cancer Council NSW and the whole site comes under Cancer Council NSW responsibility. A small number of authorised Cancer Council staff are also directly involved with day-to day administration of the website.
Links to all State & Territory Cancer Council websites are also available. These can provide you with further information and access to a wide range of additional support services, information resources and related services.
