Hi everyone,
At the end of this month I will have survived Ovarian Cancer for a perod of 6 years. This is very exciting as I did not think I would make my 45th birthday. During my treatment I participated in chemo trials and since being well I have participated in the Relay for Life and other fundraising activities where the money has gone into reasearch to help others.

Re: Don't give up hope

Thanks for sharing your story. Talking about cancer survival, there are available foundations that may help cancer victims to fight against cancer. An example is the Army of Women, which is a research foundation that partners the Avon Foundation for Women and the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. Breast cancer research, as well as cancer research in general is a growing field, and if they found a way to cure without cutting too much into Big Pharmaceuticals profit margins we'd probably have a cure by now. At any rate, it would be worth an instant payday loan to donate to groups dedicated to such good causes as Army of Women.

WOW cherylw, that is wonderful news - 6 years is a long time in ovarian cancer and now you are on the road to full survival.

You have certainly taken an active role in it all haven't you. Onward and upward for you and top marks Smile
