A couple of research projects
I received information on a couple of research projects that look to understand better the needs of young people with a parent with cancer and of parents of children that have been diagnosed with cancer. I thought I'd share them with everyone here.
1. CanTeen, the Australian Organisation for Young People Living with Cancer (www.canteen.org.au)is running a project to better understand the needs of young people who have a parent with cancer. For more information on what is required from you to be part of this research please contact CanTeen on 1800 234 007 for the cost of a local call or download this file.
2. A research that hopes to identify the protective internal and external factors that promote healthy functioning in parents of children who have been diagnosed with cancer is being carried out by a student from CQ University Australia. You can access the questionnaire here or you can contact Desley Stehbens on 61-7-49565828 or s0019293@cqu.edu.au
