Hi All, the following is some information about an upcoming advocacy training workshop in Victoria.

Ready yourself for action

Participate in the Cancer Voices Victoria Advocacy Training Workshop
and learn different strategies to ensure that your voice is heard.

Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 August 2009
Cancer Council Victoria
100 Drummond Street
Carlton South

9.30am – 4.30pm
Meals provided

Topics include:
Consumer participation
Sharing experiences
Patient & carer issues
Cancer awareness
Principles of advocacy
Understanding the cancer industry
Using your story as an advocacy tool

Attendance is free however registration is essential.
