What a Mixed up Week It has Been

Hi to Everyone out There,

It has been a mixed up week that has ended well with my oncologist 'phoning me to say that I can have a good Christmas. I had bloods taken on Wednesday and the cancer marker is reading almost zero - so I have not yet become resistant to the treatment - YAY!! So all those menopausal symptoms are worth it.

Rest of the week has been crazy - hospital have really messed up big time with the relative, discharging them without a care plane, medication plan, contacting support services etc., etc. Classic case of key people not communicating, or passing on relevant information. But hey - I can put up with a bit of stress.

Might be time to do a bit of self care.

I am so happy to hear your markers are zero.

And, yes I wholeheartedly agree… indulge in self care, sit back with your favourite drink, savour the taste and enjoy the feeling of relief that a “zero” brings.
