I agree with Maddie and Sailor, I come here to read how others are coping and whats happening with how they are dealing with life and let people know whats in my life too. I love the support and encouragement we can get and give here.
All these stats and articles are really boring. Put a link if you must and then its up to the individual, but links are being put and then they cut and paste the whole article as well .. LOL.
i have to agree with sailor this site is for people letting out their feelings and venting not for articles about stats and all that.. i think if people want to find out information like that they'd look it up themselves...
I am not sure why you are touting this research from Harvard that is being commercialised by Johnson and Johnson and why you cite only secondary or tertiary articles.
It was picked up by newsagencies here and mentioned in a number of Australian media outlets. However, others than Harvard produce microarrays to do exactly what this one is on about. Is the timing something to do with the US grant cycles and the researchers think they can influence their next grant by getting some publicity. Or are they about to launch a joint venture company to develop it and would like to raise some money.
Sorry if I appear cynical, but I have seen and read and heard all of this sort of stuff before.
I would suggest you go back to where you came from and stop messing about with this site. It is a support site not one for you to be grandstanding on, whether you are a health professional or not.
Cheers
