Good News

Sailor's picture

G'day out there

Saw my oncologist today and had another implant. He is pleased with my progress and in particular how quickly I have responded to the last implant three months ago. Apparently by now I should have become resistant to the therapy. There are also quite few new agents out there that on clinical trial are looking good, so the future is starting to look rosy. He believes that my cancer is changing and becoming more like what old men get rather than younger men. He has started to talk in decades rather than years.

All good news. It looks like Sailor might be around to pester people for a few more years.

Cheers

Sailor

The rushing of the sea-tides of the soul;
And inspirations that we deem our own,
Are some divine foreshadowing and foreseeing,
Of things beyond our reason or control.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Sailor

That is great news indeed! I hope that takes a little bit of the pressure off from living in those short blocks between checkups. Smile

Re: Good News

Great news!!
Love it when you continue to beat the stats Sailor without yoga or a vegetarian diet. We all love the exceptions.
Brilliant.
Think I will have a piece of chocolate to celebrate.Hope that you had a dram or two.
