8 days down and 20 to go

I am already 8 days down with Radiation and 20 to go. all is well so far with the skin and i am feeling well.
being from the country has made it really hard for me as i miss my family so much.
my husband came for the weekend an it was wonderful to see him. i only wish he could stay all the time. he is so busy with work.
it has been very hard on him as well.
i am looking forward to his next visit. the internet has been a blessing as i have be able to keep intouch with my grandies and kids as well.

Hi Linda, glad to hear that your doing well, You'll be back home before you know it with your family and all of this will be behind you, stay strong and good luck !!!!

10 days down and 18 to go

ok its 10 days down and 18 to go. i am moving right along now and am still feeling ok.
the team i am under are still keeping a close eye on me and i see the Doctor on Friday.

just miss my family so much and would love a day with them. i am so looking forward to going home at the end of all this.

9 days down and 19 to go.

today was my 9th day of Radiation and i am on the count down.
feel quite sad tonight and teary as i am missing my husband and kids. cant wait to get home and settle down to a normal life again.
i would be lost with out my computer as it keeps me in touch with family and friends every where.
people have been great. i want to thank the girls that do my treatment as they always have a smile and kind word for me.

It must be so hard being away from home. Plenty of people to chat to here!
Sometimes I think it is harder for those who have to watch.

thanks for the chat.
i am staying with great friends who are here to help me so that is a positive as well.

i am also thankful for Facebook, as it gives me a chance to keep in touch with my kids and grandies and all my friends back in Hopetoun.

every day is a new day and i know i am getting closer to going home to my own home where i can get back into my garden and do my own thing.

its now 9 days down and 19 to go.
